Synopsis:
Learn how to add some higher detail to your pictures. |

The Article
1) Select your high-detailed image. Sharpen the image using the sharpen tool (filter > Sharpen)

2) Set your auto levels, contrast, and color (image > adjustments > auto..). Change the hue/saturation to the desired level (image > adjustments > hue/saturation).

Using selective color (image > adjustments > selective color), exaggerate the shadowing (black) and shine (white) until desired effect is reached..

|
3) Note: Changing the shadow/shine levels in selective color multiple times will greater-emphazise fine-point detail which would otherwise be hard to see. |
